Pengaruh Penambahan Larutan Acidifier (Asam Sitrat) Pada Air Minum Terhadap pH Usus Halus, Bobot Tubuh Akhir, dan Bobot Giblet Ayam ULU
Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian acidifier (asam sitrat) terhadap pH usus halus, bobot tubuh akhir, dan bobot giblet serta untuk mengetahui level pemberian acidifier (asam sitrat) yang terbaik terhadap pH usus halus, bobot tubuh akhir dan bobot giblet ayam ULU. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 23 Mei 2023–18 Juli 2023 di Laboratorium Lapang Terpadu, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Lampung, Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan dan setiap ulangan terdiri atas 10 ekor ayam ULU sehingga total ayam yang digunakan sebanyak 200 ekor ayam ULU. Perlakuan yang diberikan pada penelitian ini yaitu air minum tanpa acidifier (P0), air minum dengan penambahan 0,5% acidifier (P1), air minum dengan penambahan 1.0% acidifier (P2), air minum dengan penambahan 1,5% acidifier (P3). Data dianalisis dengan analisis ragam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian larutan acidifier dengan dosis 0,5--1,5% dalam air minum tidak mempengaruhi (P>0.05) pH usus halus (jejenum), bobot tubuh akhir, dan bobot giblet ayam ULU Umur 8 minggu serta belum ditemukan dosis acidifier pada air minum terbaik
