Gambaran Darah (Sel Darah Merah, Hemoglobin, dan Packed Cell Volume) pada Ayam Kampung dengan Pemberian Ekstrak Daun Binahong
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui gambaran darah (sel darah
merah, hemoglobin, serta PCV) pada ayam kampung jantan yang diberi
ekstrak daun binahong. Penelitian terlaksana sejak Oktober-November
2024 di kandang Laboratorium Lapang Terpadu, Fakultas Pertanian,
Universitas Lampung. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode RAL
(Rancangan Acak Lengkap) dengan 5 perlakuan serta 3 ulangan.
Perlakuan yang diterapkan melalui air minum dengan P0: (kontrol), P1:
150 mg/kg BB/hari ekstrak daun binahong, P2: 200 mg/kg BB/hari
ekstrak daun binahong, P3: 250 mg/kg BB/hari ekstrak daun binahong,
serta P4: 300 mg/kg BB/hari ekstrak daun binahong. Pemeriksaan
sampel darah dilaksanakan di Rumah Sakit Hewan Prof. Soeparwi,
Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Hasil yang
didapat dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan
bahwa ayam kampung jantan yang diberikan ekstrak daun binahong
cenderung menurunkan nilai sel darah merah, hemoglobin, serta PCV,
namun masih berada dalam kisaran normal.
